So the King in the North won, will we have a (short?) story of the events that led there?
I know only of the downfall of House Martel early on, and then the perfidy of the Greyjoys who backstabbed the Lannisters, who were fool enough to believe in the peace treaty they had, and then even bigger fools to believe they could retake Casterly Rock.

Good game.  Riverrun was closely contested, but didn't go the Dragon Queen's way.  It proves to be decisive. Fun game.  Thanks for all that played.

@hiliadan, I had summon obsidian dragon spell.  So, that was the fourth dragon.

Pretty epic Dragon hunting! Long live the King in the North!! The battle of Riverrun will be told for my generations to come!
(how come there were 4 Dragons?)

Spoiler alert...
Mainly spoiling things for the players involved. Things didn´t quite go the way people expected it to (with special thanks to the shrine of the frozen beauty):

Robb Stark was pissed; no help whatsoever in dealing with the nights king and now those flamelicking flying pets came in of the backdoor taking Riverrun after claiming Dragonstone and expelling the Baratheons to the seven seas.

The battleground was set before being filled with ash and blood. 21 honorous warriors and a scout enlisted as bait set forth on dealing with Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal.

After breaking guard by breathing fire the dragons were caught and attacked from all sides. Many lives were sacrificed on this day.

Frozen Drogon was later known to be sold at beachsides for kids in the ages to come.

Late-time wits are not of great value. The battle though, was worth sharing.

I'm on vacation for the next week.  I won't be ale to play my turns until Saturday,  Nov 25. Would the host please turn off the turn timer?

IMHO this is a bug.

If it is not a bug, then certainly no "are you sure,
you will drown" message box is a bug.

---- just my two cents worth  ----
---- in other words, read on at your own risk <smiletext0> ----

Everyone that I play with that I have heard from about this
issue expects to embark, not drown, the first time it happens.
I think this says a lot.

A good design would have made this more obvious to the
uninitiated.

I have not heard or seen a post where someone said, of
course it works that way and here is a good reason why.

Obviously it does not happen to often and was initially
reported a couple years ago, so I doubt it will ever be
high on the list of things to fix (allowing embarking or
displaying a message box).

But I bet everyone that this happens to remembers it
for a very long time.

So it may not happen often but when it does, it really
leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

You should probably take a break and calm down Marcus. I was part of this game and even if I wasn't, I had all the rights to post what I posted. In the forum, I asked mainly to the devs to add a notification, as the title of my post pointed out, so I did not consider that mainly to be a bug. + you probably did not understand fully my post since you did not participate in this game and discussions which followed. I do dislike people coming out of nowhere to comment on something they don't understand.

And one last thing: it's a casual game here, not a ranked game.

Blog entry
I'm no part of this game, but i do dislike that someone comment and try to influence a game where they are no part. Maybe they want to help, but by nature they are not..

What I really react to is: Not a bug, expected behaviour"
This is a bug, no matter what you say, just because you reported something before, doesn't mean that anything else that happen is not meant to be. If you want additional material, read what Hiliadan say, and that he really think this is a bug, but when someone else report it it is "not a bug, but expected behaviour"

How do you "reload" a turn.  Only time I have reloaded
turns is when the game crashed.  Then it reloaded
automatically.

I "saved and exit"ed the game, so it should just reload
my saved game when I start it again.  Can I just removed
the saved game (once I find it)?

Or does the host have to do something so I can reload?

Not a bug, expected behaviour though a notification would be welcome ("are you sure you want to drown?"): http://aow.triumph.net/forums... />
Yeah, I agree you should get a reload, it's bad for you to suffer from such a thing. I did get a reload when it happened to me in a 4vs4 game vs The Sinners.

That's a bug.  I suggest reporting it to Triumph.  I don't mind if you restart the turn; it sounds like a harsh event for you.

I guess I don't play with sea forces too much.

I removed an item from my hero while on the seas that had floating.
I expected the hero to embarck.  I guess that is not the way it works.

My hero drowned.  Is that expected behavior?

PBEM update is corrected.  I had to restart my turn, so there is an iron man message.  I just made the same moves as I had before.

Well, the game downloaded the latest PBEM upgrade, but it made all my dragons disappear!!  I didn't end my turn.  Not sure what to do at this point.

Also, my faeries no longer have floating. So, they can't move (except in forests because they have forestry).  Very odd things are occurring.

Perhaps no need to write, but nevertheless I´m out of town for a couple of days. Will be able to play my next turn late wednesday.

I apologize I did not sympathize more with your situation.

I understand the bug influenced the battle.

Can the bug be fixed before we continue?

I did not ask before, because I did not think this was
possible.

I did not know of anything else that could be done at
this point so I did not offer any other suggestions.

Is there anything else that can be done?  If so, I would
like to know in case this situation arises again in another
game.

As for teleporting behind enemy walls and losing good
units, this is part of the AI.  It has happened to me on
several occasions and I have come to expect it.  Yes, I
think it is a dumb move by the computer (one of many
that really should not happen), but again, what
can I do about it?

I am sorry I seemed so cold to your plight, but I was
only asking if the turn should move along because I
did not know of anything that could be done to address
the situation.

If there is something that could be done, please let me
know.

I don't know, I was expecting a different answer than "Should the turn have rolled over to me?" after I said that a bug may have influenced the result of a battle, causing my death, meaning that without the bug, I may still be alive, or not.

Anyway, the turn is yours now.

Yes I did.

> I just died ...

Normally when I die, that means I am done with my turn.
How do you die and not finish your turn?

> I'm going to report the issue on the official forum.

Does this mean the game comes to a halt while the issue
is reported?  I have never reported an issue so I have no
clue what is involved with this.

@Hiliadan, I follow you in the turn order, but the game
still shows as your turn (about 20 hours left).  Should
the turn have rolled over to me?
