Actually ready...
No worries if we extend the start of the game, but it so happened that I got myself slain in a FFA game, where I was without a capitol and overestimated my capabilities in clearing sphinx temples - basically greater webbing touch failed 5 times in a row, which eventually got my leader bashed.

I don´t mind playing with another mod, but think that the heroes in this game is already fairly specialized and special, so I think it is unnecessary.

Coming back from business trip soon, then I'll host the game but I guess it won't start before mid-April.

What about playing with the Hero mods from Eomolch? They slow down hero development and brings some quite nice new builds! (though they probably need some balancing, but so far in the only game I've been playing with them, nothing seems really broken)

Issues
Hi there.

I look forward to this game, but the prospect of round 2 of the duel tournament is starting soon means that my one free slot has to be used for that. However - I am soon to be eliminated in a 4 player FFA in which I´m standing quite weakly at the moment and will consider surrendering if you absolutely have to start this one at any moment.

In other words - it will be fine for me if we wait until mid April to get this one started.

I think I'll use Normal defenders as I believe that's what we used in the past. Defenders are not important for a long time anyway, the inter-human fight starts very very quickly and is the most significant part of the map (except for Dany I guess). I think I'll keep all settings to normal.

Fight for Light, now that brings back memories!

@Hiliadan, what settings will you use when you start the westeros game? Mainly, will you use Strong for the defenders?

Your maps in progress seem quite promising indeed! <smiletext0> But that will probably be a lot of work, and you may want to focus on one at a time (this Westeros one would of course be great for us, but the larger Westeros one would be great too!).

Ok so I'll probably host the game next week or the week after. I'll be in business trip from Monday to maybe the 29th (or at least the 23rd) so I'll have poor internet connection and maybe less time, so better not to host it too early (+ I already let several games wait for me this week because I moved home).

I doubt I'll get quests in anytime soon.  I have two other maps I want to focus on.

The first is the new and improved Westeros map.  I created a larger, more detailed map that I like a lot better.  I want to start putting more energy into that one.  My goal (which the old gods and the new will laugh at) is to produce a season 6 end version, with Daenerys sailing across the storm sea, Cersei consolidating power in King's Landing, Jon Snow as King in the North, Littlefinger ruling the Vale, and Euron reaving along the west coast.  Meanwhile, the Night's King is looming (as always).  Ideally, I hope to get it out before season 7 starts.  Map is made, but that's it.

The second is porting Swolte's great Fight for Light map from AoWSM to AoW3.  I'd say I'm 60-70% done.  I think that one will be great fun.

Do you think you'll be able to make some quests in the near future? I have a bit too many games ongoing right now so I'm happy to wait to start. But if it takes more than, say, 2 weeks, maybe we should start now? As you want.

I've released version 3.5.  It contains one skill and one unit for each house.  Please see the Steam page for more information.  No quests as of yet.  Those will take more time.  But, I did figure out how to make the units buildable, so that's a victory.

I'm afraid I won't have time to check the items and start units this week end as I'm quite busy with the Shadow Realm expansion and the balance mod. Would be great if others could provide feedback to make items and units even better! (+ share ideas for the quests/scripts)

I suppose I can take Ms. Stormborn.  

On another note, what do people think of the magic items of the heroes?  Do they need to be nerfed and/or made different?  Also, I changed the starting units a little, some flavor.  What do folks think of those?

I'll put in some last minute changes this weekend.  Any requests?  I'll review Hil's suggestions on quests and feel free to comment on those.

I think it would be good for Gilafron, personian or Lykus to play her, but I don't think you, Eskild or I (or Olop) should play her as it would be very unbalanced.

I suggest the following pick orders for the remaining characters: Gilafron, Lykus, personian, Olop. So please choose your characters. <smiletext0>
