Current game Winter is Here (Organisator Gilafron) - PBEM Game

When everyone knows the values (classes / races, leaders) of others or at the end of the game, the values can be updated on this page, which will feed the meta statistics (please avoid revealing your or other player’s values when it may provide strategic information to your opponents).

Also, should we use PBEM balance mod?  I vote yes.  I'm not positive on compatibility with the Westeros mod that comes with the map, but I'll review it this weekend.

Ok, it looks like Gladis is going to play one of the leaders, so we have six.  If you haven't already picked a leader, please do so.  I have Euron for marcuspers and Littlefinger for Henrysix already reserved.  I'm good with any leader, so I'll pick last.

The players could write a small text only for themselves each turn and at the end of the game they could form a big story line - deleting the uninteresting ones and add screenshots to the interesting ones.

But let us start the game if you don´t find another Player

Stick the Class/Race and specializations to the series-character and what mods do I need for the game?

Back with AOWSM PBEM, I played in several games where there was
a blog for the game.  In these games it was recommended that each
player post in the blog after each turn (not required).  The post was
from the wizard/leader (not the player).

These games were a lot of fun.  And you got a pseudo record of the
game at the end.

Of course the blog posts were more story than facts as you
don't want to give away too much information.

I would expect the "story teller" would end up a little like those
games, except you have a narrator record the story and publish
it after the game.  I think this would be quit interesting, but with
so many players, adding one more would slow down the pace a
little too much.

If there is interest among all players, maybe we could try the
blog approach instead of a story teller.

Well, I think one game would be ok for me. But only if no GoT freak wants that Place.
I Think there never was a Story Teller before<smiletext0>

I understand your concern about Sliding down the Game. But it would be a Really nice Story xD

I agree with Olop's concern about slowing the pace of the game.  I love the idea of the storyteller, but to do it with a game that already has six players seems problematic.

Has anyone played in a game with such a storyteller?  I'd be interested in learning how it went.  It seems like it would be much more feasible in a 3 or 4 player game.

Since we will probably select leaders without consideration for time zones,
it will be hard to play a single turn in a week.  Adding a story player leader
to the map would slow the game even more.  I would be hesitant to do this.

Adding gladis as the sixth and final leader would be great.

My preference for a leader is any except Euron Greyjoy, since I am playing
the Greyjoys in the current Westeros game.

I would prefer to try and coordinate time zones to speed play some.
In this regard, I would be willing to take any leader (even Euron).

I had exactly those ideas later xD you should just make sure that I can defend me vs late Game AI.  I'm not on vacation until June and Earl could just Click "end turn" for me if I'm away for any reason and I won't join another game (only 2 Games ongoing). Just make sure the turn order is fine. I can't do Turns between 11 PM to 6 PM CET. On Weekends I can usually play the whole day Maybe I could send Hiliadan my PW if he wants to do the turns in China xD
You can search for another player anyway.

@Gladis,

I suppose you could do that.  I would have to create another leader, perhaps put you in Essos, like Myr or Pentos.  Those are currently unplayable cities (neutral and zero diplomacy).  I could also put scouts next to everyone so you could ally on the first turn.

My only concern is slowing down the game.  The turns would have to go through you.  What do others think?

Also, I'm going to post on steam for another player, unless Gladis wants to play as an actual leader.

Hey guys,

please check my post in the Chat; I would really love to be the story teller of your game.
It would take some steps, but it´s possible and I think very interesting for a lot of Players in the community.

1. There mustn´t be Teams in the set-up of the game
2. I Need to know all the positions of Players and the quickest ways to their empire - starting rather in the middle of the map.
3. I will only Focus on scouting + some defence for not getting killed by AI, will make peace with everyone as soon as I meet them.
4. After I´m in peace with every Player, I send all my Scouts away and make alliance with everyone.

I´m not sure whether you see what I have scouted before? Are the paths what I used for scouting visible for you? Ofc they shouldn´t!

5. I will make Videos of each turn, write some text Information for later use + maybe comment directly

6. I could send a CD with my Videos to one of you or another Player who is eager to do the "Big Business" in doing some further theme based comments - "the real Story Teller" - and upload them on YouTube. I´m a total noob in GoT as you know and could only rely on my AoW experience

I would make Videos of your heroic battles and deaths, too <smiletext1>

Possible?

Winter is Here
I need play testers for the Winter is Here map, set at the conclusion of Season 6.  The playable leaders are:

1.  Daenerys Targaryen, finally sailing to Westeros with a large army
2.  Jon Snow, King in the North
3.  Cersei Lannister, Queen of the Iron Throne
4.  Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish, Lord Protector of the Eyrie
5.  Euron Greyjoy, King of the Iron Isles
6.  Night King

I request high commitment.  Join, it'll be fun!

@marcuspers, no, Euron is not a dreadnaught.  I tried to avoid steampunk tech in this map.  So, no Dreadnaughts or their units.  As such, I also removed cannon's from galleys.  They are pretty much just bigger frigates.  I did give the Ironborn Fast Embark and Mariner.  I removed Mariner from humans.  That makes the Ironborn a little more unique.

Hello!

Love the series and would love to try an adventure of GoT.

I wouldn't mind to play Greyjoy, as that should involve quite a bit of sea units?
Not often you have a chance to play with that! Is he buy any chance considered a dreadnought, so you can build the real war boats?
