Sorry, friends.   I have already found the teammate for 2vs2 tournament. And we created the team with name "Team of Bears" (bears are coming ). But I think that we can expand our team to the status of the clan (more than 2 participants), if anyone of you wants to join our team. <smiletext1>

Sorry, we have some delay to open the registrations of the tournament, but the start date remains the same for now: 15 July.

I`m against AD06a, Ro16a, Th08a, Neo8a.
GC13 For Ella Shadow Step will be better I think. 
GC06 I propose Healing ability of all units can be used only once per battle (not only leaders and heroes).

GC06The Healing ability of heroes and leaders (Theocrat and Archdruid upgrade and item's ability) can be used only Once per battle (was 2 turns cooldown)




GC13Ella the Runaway, Frostling Sorcerer, has Throw Ice Ball (was Charm) as a starting skill




AD09Goblin Hunters get Blight Concealment




Dr17Juggernauts produced in Halfling and Elf cities do not have Tree Crusher




Ne04aInflict Despair causes "Holy Weakness" (non-stackable) and "Despair" (stackable) on the target and is strength 9 (non-stackable). Holy Weakness gives 30% Spirit weakness. Despair gives -200 morale. (was Inflict Despair is strength 10, causes "Despair": 20% Spirit weakness, -200 morale and stackable)




Ne09Energy Drain has a spirit strength 10 chance of draining 75% of the target’s MP and is non-stackable (was 50% and stackable)




Ro09Rogue heroes and leaders can now choose Assassin’s training: all units in the stack now have Backstab (stackable with other Backstab) – cost 7, available at level 11




Ro10Rogue heroes and leaders can now choose Scouting: all units in the stack gets +4 MP – cost 10, available at level 13




Ro11Assassins of King costs 5 (was 6), available at level 9 (was 11)




Ro13Stealth Commander costs 4 (was 5)




Ro15Rogue heroes and leaders’ Charm is a touch ability (was Short range)




Th04aSlayer’s Doubt last 3 turns (was until the end of battle)

Also confirm that you are in favour of the strength increase to mind-control abilities apply only to LEADERS and not to HEROES (so a Theocrat heroes with a Warlord leader will always have Convert at 9 strength, never at 11 as before).



AD06aLeaders and heroes’ Befriend Animal has strength 10 (was 12). When Summon Eldritch Animal is researched by the player, its strength is improved to 12 for its leaders (not heroes).




Ne08aLeaders and heroes’ Control Undead has strength 6 (was 8). When Summon Banshee is researched by the player, its strength is improved to 8 for its leader (not heroes).




Ro16aLeaders and heroes’ Charm has strength 7 (was 9). When Produce Bard is researched by the player, its strength is improved to 9 for its leader (not heroes).




Th08aLeaders and heroes’ Convert has strength 9 (was 11). When Produce Evangelist is researched by the player, its strength is improved to 11 for its leader (not heroes).

Cbower I tried this, didn`t work. It`s interesting that in other matches where I used mod no such problems yet.

I would try to remove the mod you have unsubscribe and re-subscribe if a simple update on user content section did not work. It hasn't got to my turn yet, and I haven't seen my games move, so I don't know if others have problems or not.

Sorry for the performance here, I was hoping to provide a better video for the final, but what I have is on you tube at the link below. On the final turn video I explain what I was hoping to accomplish. Turn 2-3 is uploading now. I do think it would be good to have some more PBEM videos, so I will try to do another one some time.

Thank you to every body <smiletext0>, no cbower don't lose his throne to independent no independent turn 3 <smiletext1>, i don't understand when i find cbower he don't have use his colon and just have take independent city with his army split, so i chose to attack with my army split too, but i have better heroes the heroes of cbower are wound... may be i can do video. Cbower why you come in independent city with your colon?

The match between cbower and gabthegab was actually extremely quick! gab on with a big rush lightning attack on cbower on turn 3 - which had lost his throne to independent if I understand correctly? -. Pretty scary!!

Now you need to wait for the winners of the 2 sub-tournaments to finish to see who you will face for the big final matches.

Regarding the 2 vs 2 tournament, I think we can aim for July 15 to start it. I believe we can open registration in about 2 weeks. Hopefully the PBEM balance mod will be ready tomorrow or a bit later, Zaskow sent the files to cbower.
I propose that we use a v1.15 of the mod for the tournament which would include corrections of potential issues spotted in v1.1 as well as improvements on the solutions for Necro, conversion and Necro farming. Other things (e.g. rebalance of Rogue heroes, currently discussed for v1.2) would not be included as we would not have time to test them.

Update on the 3 tournaments:

  • 16 players: the final is under way, cbower vs gabthegab. I think cbower is doing a video! <smiletext0>

  • 1st 8 players: Jonny Thunder vs Sjow ongoing

  • 2nd 8 players tournament: ehall replaced by Warlord Keldon (who was the only one to be in a similar situation to ehall, with Olop, and Olop had to drop because of real life time constraints). rrrrookie vs Warlord Keldon will start soon. Please both send your class / race to judges (rrrrookie, you can update your previous choice).




Update on future tournaments:
Next tournament will be a 2 vs 2 PBEM. It will use the balance mod for PBEM. v1.1 of the mod should be released this week end or next week (Zaskow almost finished his part, then he needs to send it to cbower who will finish it). The idea is that the tournament uses a v1.15 which correct the possible issues in v1.1. The mod will at the same time continue to be improved for a v1.2 (which is currently under discussion).
