I'm not sure if I got their races right. This was a very good game that could have gone on for much longer. I forgot to take a screenshot of the score.

Lightform and phirpo snowballed to become very powerful while personian and myself faded. Phirpo won a big battle against Lightform and the surrendered.

so now I had a crash earlier today. Took a screenshot of the error notification. I didnt attack anybody and there was hardly anything to do this turn for me anyway, luckily. Personian, wanna add me on steam? 

No worries, man.  Again, I apologize for the poor communication & whatnot.  And as I said as well, I totally understand why you'd be upset about restarts at this juncture of the game.   It's all good!  Game on. ;-)

I apologize for the accusation Personian. I overreacted. I don't usually don't do stuff like that but everything boiled up at once. As I said, I (and I think phirpo as well) had to restart this game when my game crashed. So I should not be on a high horse the way I was.

I always take games seriously. One game takes many hours and hours to play - just spread out over weeks and months. That is significant time commitment. Phirpo and I roll with the punches of what happens in our turn and I always expect other players to do the same.

Let's finish with a fun and fair game.

i believe that all players are committed to fairness here and will not abuse the crashes to improve their games. if you are honest and really want to see how you yourself perform (and mistakes are part of the drama), then you dont do that. in critical disputed situations we can still agree on the tournament rule that attacks are not allowed from the player who had a crash - just a reminder. now let's not be angry and suspicious with each other. let's get on with it.

I'm kind of surprised you guys are taking this so seriously... it's not like it's a tournament game. Even if it was, games are so variable that one loss or win means little. You should all realise by now that it takes quite a few games to establish relative player ability ? I certainly didn't enter this game hoping to prove anything

I'll be honest and say that it was my bad to forget to email about the restart, and it was also my bad to not immediately respond to rrrookie's "question".  I was pretty irritated by the question--it felt like an accusation, and I thought it would be better to calm down and not respond in anger, so I was going to wait a couple days.  I've been out of town for Christmas break, & sadly I let this slide.  I remembered this situation a couple days ago, but again forgot to email a response at the time. Now I see an even more irritating accusation today; I'll do  my best to take the high road here and not create a shouting match.

To summarize what happened:  I've been out of town for Christmas break, & so I've been on my laptop.  My laptop is a piece of crap and regularly crashes under all kinds of circumstances.  It crashed for me here.  I'm still on it until the 2nd, so I promise not to put in a game turn until then.  I should've sent an email right after the restart to alert you all, but it skipped my mind.  Again, that's my bad.  I don't appreciate being called a cheater (in so many words), but then again, I understand that we're at the stage of the game where we're all setting traps for each other, and it ruins the game if somebody falls into one and then restarts to get out of it.  I get the circumstances.  I don't think it excuses someone from stalling the game and demanding an explanation, but it is what it is.  

OK, I'll leave it at that, as everything else coming to mind at the moment is very negative... ;-)   

I do sincerely apologize for doing a crappy job communicating here.  Had I known the ramifications of my silence, I never would've taken it so lightly.

I would say that your silence says it all. We didn't say anything when you guys restarted over a battle earlier in the game, but based on what is happening in the game right now personian's restart doesn't look good. I know phirpo and I each had a restart early but I can tell you that my game crashed. Right now it feels like you are not playing this match with the level of integrity this game requires.

Why did you restart your turn personian?

Whoops sorry I forgot to post about my restart. My game closed out without any error or warning message. When I opened it back up obviously I got the ironman notification.
