Posts to the game:

Game finished on turn 41 but won around turn 29 when I took the Archon dwelling and the one of the two cities of Olop (and later razed them). I was a bit worried during most of the game of not finding Olop's leader but after turn 29, I found him near his capital, probably coming back from some clearing to protect the capital. The next 10 turns were mainly waiting for him to lose money and for his units to revolt as I had 6 cities + one Giant dwelling and he had only 1 city but a big 4 stacks army with several T3 including 2 Champion Troopers, pretty dangerous! Theocrat vs Necromancer: another victory for God!

Yes, I also think the lack of scouting doomed you. Otherwise, we were pretty equal in terms of score, army or domain.

I did not get enough scouts exploring.  In the end I decided
to move towards the underground giant city from the south.
When my forces moved underground the enemy showed up
in force on the surface on my northern border.  My forces
could not move fast enough to prevent the destruction of all
my cities except my throne.  Then came the slow death as
my large force depleted my gold reserves and finally about
a third of my units deserted.

Hi Olop. I don't know exactly what happened (I was doing something with my phone and I may have closed the AoW3 window when it finished loading the game,  I don't know, because I didn't get any error message) but my AoW3 closed just after our game finished loading. So I had to reload. I don't have any screenshot to send to Markymark......

So sorry about that. Let me know if you want to do something.

Anyway, counter of reloads:
- Hiliadan: 1
- Olop: 0

I noticed that increasing the turn timer did not give you any more time
on your current turn (I turned it up to 10 days, but you still only had 8
hours for your current turn).

I turned off the turn timer.  After you play the current turn I will set it
to 2 days.  I don't think this will be an issue since we both are quick
players.

I'll be on business trip this week (I take the plane in 4 hours for Europe, from China) so could you please put the turn timer to 2 days? I should be able to play in 1 day but it would be much better for me if I could have a bit more flexibility.

Thanks! <smiletext0>

Ok I joined!
I think it's better to have Ironman on, yes. It reduces opportunities that issues arise in the future!

Oh shit, I just realized you didn't select Ironman mode... :S I didn't see it so it's my fault.
As it's only turn 1, maybe it's better to restart now? What do you think? Maybe we should ask Markymark what he thinks.

Because without Ironman, we have no way to check one of us is not doing some strange things. (I realized we had no Ironman after you posted your issues from yesterday and I saw it was not reported in the report I received by email)

I am on vacation now.  When I played my turn this morning there were
issues with the hotel's internet.  I thought the game did not upload.
When I went to play this afternoon, the game completely restarted, so
it must of failed saving the game, not uploading.  The game actually
failed uploading again, but when I restarted the game was saved and
I was able to upload.

For what it is worth, I would have much preferred the first start.

Sorry I don't have any screenshots since I thought I would be able to
upload the game when I reloaded.

Hi Olop! You're the host. Let me know when you're ready to start.
Don't forget to send your class / race to Markymark before the start and to take screenshots of the settings of the game and post them somewhere so that I can check them.

Good luck!
